Marketing Internship (unpaid) [Ref. AS0000-013]
An opportunity has arisen for a Marketing Intern (unpaid) reporting to the Marketing, Communications and Events Manager, who will serve as a mentor throughout the internship. The role will provide a hands-on learning opportunity for an undergraduate student interested in a marketing and/or event management career. Capable of working individually and as part of a team, with a willingness to learn, you will develop a variety of highly competitive resume building skills.

Overview of Role:

An opportunity has arisen for a Marketing Intern (unpaid) reporting to the Marketing, Events and Communications Manager, who will serve as a mentor throughout the internship. The role will provide a hands-on learning opportunity for an undergraduate student interested in a marketing and/or event management career. Capable of working individually and as part of a team, with a willingness to learn, you will develop a variety of highly competitive resume building skills.  Hours of work are flexible, offering 20 hours per week Monday – Thursday between the hours of 9.30am and 5pm.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

To support and assist a variety of projects including:
• Event planning
• Exhibition arrangements
• Design and production of marketing materials
• SEO and website maintenance
• Social Media engagement
• Preparation of presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint, animations, videos, photos etc.
• Research, data analysis, administrative tasks, and other ad hoc tasks

 

Required Qualifications :

• Higher level education, working towards a degree or equivalent qualification within the marketing disciplines

Preferred Experience/ Skills :

• Experienced using computer software packages including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Publisher
• Experience of Adobe Photoshop and InDesign, Word Press
